Description

The Diplodocus is one of the most popular sauropod dinosaurs of all time. Diplodocus belonged to the group of sauropods, well-known large dinosaurs that had long necks and tails. They were among the largest creatures to have walked the planet. It was discovered in 1877, and from then until today it remains the center of attraction in different museums and documentaries. Honoring its enormous dimensions, our Diplodocus is the largest model in the collection.

Our version of the Diplodocus is based on the famous Diplodocus carnegii. It is designed in 1:25 scale, so it measures 1 meter long, making it the longest model in the entire collection. It has an articulated jaw and a neck divided into 4 sections that allow it to bend. Its tail has 20 divisions that will allow you to assemble it in any way you want, giving it its peculiar appearance of a whip. It also includes spare parts in case you lose any.

Although the Diplodocus is the longest model in the WONDER Artistic Models collection, its one meter length is reduced by the joints in the tail; that is, the more pronounced the curves that are given to the tail, the more its length will be reduced. In addition, the Diplodocus was a slender dinosaur, so its body extends little in height and width. These qualities make this model ideal for tables and shelves.
