Giganotosaurus carolinii is among the largest predators to have walked our planet. This huge theropod lived in what is now Argentina and has gained a great level of popularity since its discovery, becoming the favorite of many in a short time.
Our version of this huge creature is based on the latest official reconstructions. This great model has a meticulous level of detail that includes the sclerotic rings and the set of gastralias. It also has our innovative tension system that will prevent it from losing its posture over time without breaking the harmonies of its anatomy.
It has an articulated jaw, its neck can rotate at any angle from right to left and its tail is sectioned into 3 parts so you can bend it and give it greater realism. Without a doubt, a model that cannot be missing from the shelves of those who see themselves as dinosaur lovers.

There we finally have the Giganotosaurus, the real one.
There is not much to say about this one, except that it is amazing and a must have for any collection.
Trust me, having T-Rex, Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus on the same shelf, next to each other is a feast for the eyes.

Now this model is among my favorites. Its build was a fun one for me and to see it displayed never fails to make me crack a smile. It also looks great alongside the Tyrannosaurus model and many others. Building it wasn’t very difficult but more so time consuming as these typically are.

I bought 3 of these. Giganotosaurus was the first one I built. It was an enjoyable process. Since it was my first one it was a little daunting to get it started. Once I looked over all the pieces and started to understand how the pieces worked the building process went pretty smoothly. The finished product looks amazing and is bigger than I anticipated.

I found Wonder Artistic Models purely by chance via a YouTube video review of their Tyrannosaurus Rex kit at the beginning of 2025. My wife often asks me what I would like for my Birthday/Christmas present and as I was so impressed with what I had seen in the review I knew just what I wanted. So I went online and had a look at Wonder Artistic Models website, and I was literally spoilt for choice! My first thought was to buy a copy of the Tyrannosaurus Rex model that I had seen in the review, but even though I do have a background in model making as a hobby, I have never made this type of model before, and the T-Rex (although fantastic looking) looked a bit out of my league. So I looked at other kits in their range to try first. If you are reading this then you will know the subject choice for my first try was this excellent Giganotosaurus kit. This kit is rated as an “Advanced” level of difficulty, but I was keen to give it a go. I placed an order, and honestly from that moment on I have been so impressed with every aspect of my experience with Wonder Artistic Models. I have just finished my Giganotosaurus kit (January 2026), and wow, just wow! He(?) was just so much fun to build. I had no trouble with the build at all. This being largely thanks to the excellent build tutorial posted by Simón. Thanks Simón! If you are in any doubt about how to build your model I would highly recommend you watch the tutorial video. From the excellent customer service (many thanks Daniela!), fast shipping, thoughtful and stylish packaging, excellent quality of build materials, and not leat the design and structural engineering that goes into these dinosaur skeleton kits, it’s all top notch! If you are in any way into dinosaurs, looking to relive your childhood, or just simply want a cool new build project, then trust me there is a Wonder Artistic Models dinosaur just waiting to be brought back to life by you! I am now looking forward to my next build from this range. Decisions, decisions… 🙂
