Description

Among the most peculiar and admired marine reptiles is undoubtedly the order Plesiosauria, whose members inhabited the seas from the middle of the Triassic to the end of the Cretaceous and were the largest creatures of their time.

Our Plesiosaur model is designed with a very high level of detail and specifically represents Thalassomedon (“lord of the seas”), an elasmosaurid plesiosauroid that lived in what is now North America during the Late Cretaceous.

Its varied articulations make it one of the most versatile models in the collection. The neck, its most striking anatomical feature, can curve in different directions, which will help you recreate scenes as varied as you like.

Likewise, its jaw is articulated, and its head also has two joints that will allow you to turn it to the sides, up and down.

Once assembled, you can pose this model on its built-in base, or if you wish, you can hang it and imagine that it swims freely.

This model will undoubtedly elevate your home museum with its high level of detail, anatomical precision, and the artistry of its many poses.

Adjustable angle parts: jaw, neck in 9 sections (7 left, right and 2 up and down), and the last 3 sections can be placed in 2 directions (curved up or down). The 4 fins can rotate and the front ones can be placed in 2 positions (up, down)

Very cool model! Required a bit more sanding than the other model but this model does have many more pieces, so I figure it evens out.

The articulation and pose-ability is so cool- something I didn’t even know was possible.

Otro monstruo marino a la colección. Nuevamente un excelente modelo con la calidad a la que Wonder ya nos tiene acostumbrados, el modelo es bastante grande y sobre sale harto hacia adelante, lo que queda fantástico cuando se coloca en la repisa junto al Mosasaurus

Order came on time as it was suggested, box looked in good condition.~ I know my friend would love the model in the end for a gift being he enjoys building model kits and is into pre-historic marine animals so thought this would be a win win for him.~ I do plan on buying one/few myself in the coming months because honestly these models look really good to mess and build with for my future dinosaur collecting shelf.~

Absolutely wonderful model! It was a lot of fun to build, the product is stunning and exactly as pictured. The articulation also allows you to create dynamic poses that are super cool to build. The instructional video was easy to follow and made the whole process very user friendly as a first time 3D puzzle builder. Definitely would recommend for anyone who loves paleontology and looking for realistic fossil models.
I will certainly be getting another one in the future!

Great model kit! Took me an afternoon/evening to get it all together. I could have been better about putting it together, had a couple small rips in the more fragile connecting bits in the thorax/hips, but everything was still structurally sound so it wasn’t a big deal. I did have to use a couple of the extra pieces, was good that the more fragile bits had back ups just in case. This was my first time doing a wooden 3D model, the quality of the material and packaging was very nice, quality paper . I felt like Indiana Jones unwrapping the package. Great attention to detail, it’s bigger than I thought and has really good adjustability, especially considering it’s all wooden with no true ball joints. Wonderful start to my home museum, will be ordering more! Highly recommend to any dinosaur or science lover for gift ideas! Gracias!
